Following a public hearing, the Town Board for the Town of Hammond determined that it is necessary and appropriate to acquire by condemnation the following real property described as 0.03 acres of land along the southeasterly boundary of the parcel at 200 St. Lawrence Avenue, Hammond, New York to attach to the Town Hall property in order to remedy a boundary line issue. That the public use, benefit and purpose to be served by this acquisition is to remedy the Town Hall encroachment and create a conforming use on one single parcel under the Town’s ownership.
