NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Hammond for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025, has been compiled and filed in the office of the Town Clerk in Hammond, New York, where it may be inspected by any and all interested persons during regular office hours.

FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Hammond will hold a Public Hearing on November 13, 2024 at 7:00pm at the Town Office Building, 21 S. Main St., and that at such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against any items therein contained.

PURSUANT to section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows: Town Councilpersons $9,006 (4 @ $2,251.50), Town Supervisor $17,480.00, Town Clerk $33,950.00, Highway Superintendent $20,400.00.

PURSUANT to Section 495, Chapter 258 of Real Property Tax Law, a report of all Exemptions and Payment in Lieu of Taxes will be posted on the Town Clerk bulletin board and will become part of the final budget.
